National Defence and the Canadian Forces Ombudsman developed and introduced a Military Benefits Browser on April 9, 2018. The browser provides easily accessible information related to benefits and services for military members who are ill, injured or transitioning out of the Canadian Armed Forces, their families, as well as families of the deceased.

On August 20, 2017 the Richmond Hill Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 375) held a special commemoration event recognizing the Dieppe Raid of August 19, 1942 where seven local area soldiers paid the supreme sacrifice. The event is shown here in two parts: Part 1 and Part 2. A further video was made of this event and can be seen here.
